BIOGRAPHY:
Moving from California where I was raised as a child to Mississippi as a preteen allowed me to be exposed to several genres of music immediately. I found an extreme interest in the school music program which led to my interests developing further as I eventually took on the role as the drummer for the various churches I attended growing up. While growing and developing a life as a hard worker, husband and dedicated church drummer, I wasn’t always sure I’d be the type to play professionally until I hit my 20’s and started learning from the people around me that my skills were more than average. Sure, I've done several live gospel recordings and things of that nature, but I wanted to explore more into my life as a drummer. So i began to do different genres of music. I started attracting attention from the secular market which led me to taking a full time job with ‘Chad Wesley Band’. A random meeting at a music store franchise between Chad Wesley and myself created what would become an amazing working relationship. He was drawn to a crowd of people watching me test out a new kit. He was extremely impressed and offered me the position on the spot and was it ever fate! We immediately started gigging in February of 2011 and to date have covered over 10 states and 45 cities. Ranging over numerous types of venues, benefits, festivals, television & radio spots, showcases for major labels and theatres. 180 shows to date. Building more steam and success as we go. I am very brand loyal as it is the tool of my trade. I’m humbled to sing the praises of any brand that I personally use that are willing to honor my abilities & achievements. I just finished recording my second major studio EP release that will be released this fall. CWB is in talks with 2 Major Labels that selected the band at various Hard Rock Music Showcases sponsored by King Ryan Events of Los Angeles. I still play for various large churches as well as doing session work with independent labels with prolific artists. Live music is where its at for me. I plan to dedicate my life to my trade. I take pride in what I do and my reputation in the public eye. I’m an eccentric entertainer that shows no mercy on stage. Its an event and I came to party. But the groove and the pocket ALWAYS come first.
